I’ll look back on my quarantine fondly... put together the biggest puzzle of my life. This is my 4th van, in 5 years. Each one gets planned more intentionally. With 60 square feet to work with, I set the goal to be able to sleep, cook, work on the computer, and use the bathroom simultaneously. So no shared spaces and no need to convert from one usage to another. Got tired of overhead storage closing in the open air space, so made the bed bigger, and transferred the storage volume underneath. The slats look good, but they are utilized to hang stuff. Mainly to strategically position the tablet to watch The Office. I wanted it to look simple and cohesive, but to have intricate features hidden throughout. There’s a hidden bathroom, cabinets, oven, curtain, fridge, surfboard storage, etc. My favorite part is the lighting.
