Even in producing commercial vehicles, the heritage of MV Agusta has never been trivial. Swipe and read this post to discover more. The first utilitarian bike that appeared in the product range of MV Agusta didn’t start with a very good life: war-torn Italy needed a utilitarian transporter that would help in restoring peaceful life. Therefore, the utilitarian tricycle, 98 Motocarro, with a load capacity of 250 kg was designed in 1946 — just a year after the first motorcycle, MV 98, appeared. For the purpose of unification, it was equipped with the same 98-CC single-cylinder "two-stroke" as the main model. A wooden cargo platform was located in front of the driver, and the delivery tricycle was controlled by a steering wheel. In 1948, several cars were equipped with a two-stroke single-cylinder engine of 125 cm³ with a 3-speed transmission, and in 1949, a modernized 125 CC "single" with a 4-speed transmission. The next tricycle, 175 Motocarro, introduced in 1954, had a more familiar shape: a metal platform was located behind the driver, and as a power unit used a more traction four-stroke engine, converted to a gimbal drive from the 172.3 cm³ "single" from the model 175 CST. In 1958, it was replaced by the 150 Centauro RF (Rapido Furgone) cargo scooter. The 350 kg tricycle was driven by a deforced 7 HP "four-stroke" from the 150.1 CC version of the Centomila model (it was converted to a gimbal drive and for better cooling was equipped with an enlarged oil pump and fan) and already had a cabin. The recipe turned out to be successful, and over two years of production, 4160 units were sold to customers. The modernization carried out in 1961 was supposed to strengthen the popularity of the utilitarian motor scooter: changing the name to 150 Centauro RFB, it not only improved the appearance (slightly changed the shape of the cab, and as an option, for example, you could order doors) but also added power to the engine, which raised the load capacity to 380 kg. The matured hard working bike was produced from 1961 to 1965 and sold 1610 copies during this time. ----- continue in the comments below -----
